The LŠSS includes a series of lectures. You can choose from a diverse range of topics related to Czech language, literature, and culture in the broadest sense of the word.
You will hear from specialists from Charles University’s Faculty of Arts and the Czech Academy of Sciences.

The series of lectures are intended for advanced student groups and are a compulsory part of their course; for that reason, the lectures are in Czech and are mandatory.

We offer a different set of lectures every year.

The lecture program is intended for students at the highest level and is conducted in Czech, you can find their overview and annotations here.

Lectures in English are included in the cultural program.
